Terry Disley

UK keyboardist Terry Disley’s compositions embrace Swing, Be-bop, Funk, Cool Jazz, Ballads, Latin & Salsa, always with a strong emphasis on hot driving rhythms and powerful melodies. The long time touring / recording keyboardist and composer with Acoustic Alchemy (two Grammy nominated CD’s), also worked on studio and live projects with Bryan Ferry (Roxy Music), Van Morrison, Madness, Sir Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Jon Bon Jovi, Mick Jagger, and Tom Jones. He was musical director for Dave Stewart of the Eurythmics for five years and worked on five major motion picture scores. Receiving the Young Jazz Musician of the Year award at age 25. He went on to play with many of the finest jazz musicians in the world including Eddie Henderson, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Urbie Green and Carmen Lundi, and opened shows for jazz giants McCoy Tyner, Cedar Walton, Jimmy Heath, Monty Alexander and Miles Davis.
