Robert Gastelum's 5 Piece Acoustic Ensemble

Trumpeter Robert leads a group of talented musicians. He's been working in the recording studio for the past five or so years, writing his very own original songs. He enters the music scene of San Francisco by way of Napa Valley.

Along the way he has sat in with and performed with several headliners such as Delfeayo Marsalis, Jorge Santana, and Little Joe Y Familia. He also continues to sit in with bands in the salsa scene of San Francisco. While not sitting in and performing with other groups, he stays busy leading a group of musicians and performing material that he writes. 

Some the musicians that have passed through Robert’s groups and currently performing with him: Eric Mendez on Percussion, Marco Diaz on Piano, Saul Sierra on Bass, Joseph Camacho on Tenor, Erik Stern on Percussion, Hans Stern on Piano, and Marcus Lopez on Bass.
