Horns a Plenty

Horns a Plenty is a 5 piece brass band with one foot in JS Bach and the other in Duke Ellington, with plenty of brass in between. With a distinctly discriminatory policy in favor of trombones, cornets and flugelhorns, Horns a Plenty wants to squeeze as much music as it can out of each note. It's Bach, Swing, Sousa, Ragtime and Dixieland all fighting to be in first place. They take no prisoners!

Horns a Plenty recognizes that the heart and soul of great music is a quality that is timeless and transcends musical styles, genres and generations. When asked what kind of music they play, you can say they play beautiful music. You can say their swing. You can say their a beautiful day in the park or a 1920's speakeasy. It's all great music. It's all love.

The band is lead by big band veteran Russ Button and boasts players who are graduates from the finest music schools in America. They've devoted their lives to playing great music and nobody's going to stop them!

They perform for any occasion you might imagine - wedding ceremonies, restaurant evening entertainment, parties, weddings, wakes, public events or even an afternoon concert in the park.

They play without amplification, and can set up anywhere indoors or out. They can also moderate their sound level to suit most any kind of setting. And dig this... they know how to play soft!
