David Luning

David Luning's award-winning original songs, charming personality, and warm rich voice captivate audiences. With insights beyond his 24 years, clever humor and poignancy, he draws them into a folk/Americana world both familiar and new. David's songs include surprising insights into love and car troubles, tales of ramblin' and homesick desperation, and foot stompin' sing-alongs. His warm whiskey coated voice has a rich timbre which captivates and soothes.  People have often commented that his lyrics remind them of a young John Prine or Bob Dylan. David's original music and lyrics continue to win songwriting competitions and his fan base of loyal listeners is expanding quickly!

David plays guitar, piano, harmonica, and accordion in a variety of genres including Folk, Americana, Country, and Rock.  He performs as a captivating solo act, and also performs with three amazing musicians: Linden Reed, Dave Sampson, and Ben Dubin; collectively called the David Luning Band. When David's schedule allows, he pursues some of his other passions. He was recently cast, by AE Casting, in an episode of the Discovery T.V. show: "I Almost Got Away With It" and in the past has performed in numerous plays.
