Rupert Duncan

Rupert Duncan is a country music singer songwriter in Northern California. He grew up listening to all kinds of music such as country, rock, oldies, and even some pop. He recently placed finalist in The Song Of The Year Songwriting contest in the country music division. I also am a former member of N.S.A.I. and have went to several songwriting study workshops and seminars. His goal with these new songs here is to have a fresh country sound that is original, unique and radio friendly. Real songs about real life!  Recorded two songs in Nashville, Tennessee. (Would You Take Me ) & (Step Outside Your Ring) . The songs received some moderate airplay on certain radio stations mostly back east.  What a difference a producer makes..I am very proud of my 2 originals titled " Country Song (Its Got To Be Country)" & "Hugs And Kisses". And it was an incredible honor for me to have these two songs produced by Mr."Ronnie Montrose" . In case you don't know him Ronnie and his rock band "Montrose" had much success with songs like "Rock Candy" & "Bad Motor Scooter" and featured "Sammy Hagar" on vocals.  I love it when we play these songs at a show and people come up and say " who sings that song"? Thats when I just light up with a huge smile and say " We Do "! Over the past few years "The Rupert Duncan Band" has played  all over Northern California including gigs in  Oregon, and Reno & Las Vegas Nevada, even Montana. Types of places and events we've played include.....corporate events  , dinner dances, rodeo dances, wineries, casinos, private parties, bars, nightclubs, weddings, festivals, crabfeeds, fundraisers, and a number of benefit performances for a worthy cause.
