How many cover bands can claim 2 gold records and a Grammy nomination? Over the past 40 years, Papa Doo Run Run has taken their superb surf music around the world, performing and recording with the Beach Boys themselves, as well as Jan & Dean and Brian Wilson. Clearly, Papa is not the typical tribute band. Billboard Magazine says, "...their lovingly crafted reproduction of the hits of the 60's and 70's, and especially their award-winning re-creation of the hits of Jan & Dean and the Beach Boys, were strictly sensational."
