Classically trained with a unique, warm tone quality, Jennifer is constantly expanding her horizons with how to apply her vocal ability and musical talent; from opera and classical performances to classic pop to songwriting, she has positioned herself in a genre-blending niche while staying true to her natural timbre and personal style. Hailed by the San Francisco Chronicle for her "charming presence", Jennifer has been performing in the SF Bay Area for over a decade, at local and regional opera companies as well as popular downtown venues. She is known for her beautiful tone and versatility, and sings primarily in English, Italian and French.
In late 2009, Jennifer founded City Opera SF to offer locals an opera/pop-opera experience in unconventional venues. Since then, the group has performed at the Legion of Honor, de Young Museum, Union Square Live on Union Square, Ghirardelli Square for the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony, Cafe de la Presse near Union Square, Amante in North Beach, at the North Beach and Union Street Festivals, with People in Plazas and in other lively spaces.
Recordings include French classic pop album “Ciel de Paris”, original pop-opera song “in questa vita”, original uptempo version of Schubert’s “Ave Maria”, and other crossover music.
