Alex Corby started performing circus in college with the Vassar college Barefoot Monkeys and has since performed almost around the globe with acts such as spinning fire, juggling, stilt-walking, clown, and balloon twisting. Alex is also a trained gymnast and theatrical actor. He made his start in the Bay Area performing with the Fire and Circus arts troupe "A Different Spin". He later went on tour with the "Dreamtime Circus" to India and Peru, performing for orphanages and refugee shelters across each country. Alex has also trained at the Dell Arte International School of Physical Theater where he studied mask work, ensemble work, and clown. Alex has also performed with El Circo Nacional in Puerto Rico.
Apart from his passion for the circus arts, Alex has also developed a talent for balloon twisting. His balloon creations have stunned crowds across the country whether they be a simple balloon dog or a life-sized dragon sculpture. He hopes to compete in the large sculpture competition at the next Twist and Shout gathering for balloon twisters. Alex has been praised by audiences and families all over for his incredible talent, his outstanding rapport with children, and his superb sense of humor.
